Clearwater Beach is one of the top-rated beaches in the U.S. and known for its awesome white sand, refreshing Gulf Coast water, shops, restaurants, sunset celebrations, and hosting the annual National Super Boat Championship.

In addition to the Beach, don’t miss the numerous family attractions in the area. In the evenings, Pier 60 features “Sunsets at Pier 60," a celebration that includes entertainment and a craft market. The free, family-friendly entertainment is available nightly from two hours before sunset until two hours after sunset, 364 days a year (weather permitting).
The Pier features an ever-changing variety of performers, including fire breathers, escape artists, magicians, stilt walkers, and more. On select nights, Sunset Cinema at Pier 60 provides a free outdoor movie, and fishing from the pier is a very popular activity.
While walking around Clearwater Beach you’ll enjoy the Beach Walk, which is just south of Pier 60. This winding path runs parallel to the beach and is perfect for a stroll, bicycling, or rollerblading along the beach.
Honeymoon Island State Park is north of Clearwater Beach, and a nature lover's paradise with one of the few remaining virgin slash pine forests in South Florida. The park features nature trails and is perfect for swimming, fishing, snorkeling, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, surfing, and wildlife viewing.
Caladesi Island State Park is also north of Clearwater Beach and is only available by a ferry from Honeymoon Island or boat. Caladesi Island was ranked as the Best Beach in America in 2008 and was ranked a top ten beach by Dr. Beach in 2016. With three miles of pristine beach, Caladesi Island is an unspoiled paradise, and a magical place for beach activities and eco-adventures.
Sand Key Park, located just south of Clearwater Beach, is a 95-acre park with a distinct beach area and separate park. Sand Key Park is the home of the artificial reef program to improve fishing and diving in the Gulf.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is just over the causeway from Clearwater Beach and is the home of Winter, the Dolphin. Winter is the real-life star of the movie “Dolphin Tale,” which is about a dolphin that swims with a prosthetic tail.
Moccasin Lake Nature Park is a 51-acre nature preserve with a 5-acre lake that is owned and operated by Clearwater. The preserve features an education center and offers environmental education classes, programs, and camps. The center is just 30 minutes from Clearwater Beach and is the home of live birds of prey, reptiles, amphibians, and aquatic wildlife.
For golfers and sports enthusiasts, there are five municipal and public golf courses in the Clearwater area, and six private courses. Clearwater is also the home of Spectrum Field, the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team, as well as their affiliate, the Clearwater Threshers.
